Torah Over Zoom: Purim in a Pandemic

On Tuesday, February 9 at 7:00 pm, please join in as we continue our weekly Torah study. This week’s topic is especially timely since COVID-19 hit us fully just after last year’s holiday.

Just a few days ago, the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards of the Rabbinical Assembly (The CJLS) overwhelmingly passed a teshuvah (responsum) by Rabbi Avram Reisner detailing several acceptable Megillah reading procedures, in descending order of halakhic desirability, all of which expect communities to observe COVID precautions and obey local health regulations.
