Yom HaZikaron/Yom Ha’atzmaut Ceremony

The AJC will be hosting a joint Yom HaZikaron/Yom Ha’atzmaut Ceremony this year on Wednesday, April 18th, 7pm at the Shaar Shalom synagogue. The ceremony will feature a number of musical acts and readings by members of the Halifax Jewish community, starting by recognizing the sombre tone of Yom HaZikaron and transitioning into the joyous celebration of Israel’s 70th birthday. A light reception will follow the ceremony.
