International Seminary for Halakhic Study

The Rabbinical Assembly, the worldwide association of Conservative/Masorti rabbis, has designated two days – on in the fall, and a second in the upcoming spring – as times for our communities to come together to study specific teshuvot (legal response) of the CJLS (the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards, the central legal authority for the Conservative movement).
This Shabbat, November 23, we will gather after Kiddush (approximately noon) and study “Women and Mitzvot” by Rabbi Pamela Barmash. (The link will give you access to Rabbi Barmash’s paper, but all are welcome to participate whether you’ve read the teshuvah or not.)
We look forward to this new and exciting program that will join together Conservative/Masorti Jews world-wide.
