Chai Mitzvah Meeting
An event every month that begins at 7:30 pm on day Last of the month, repeating until November 26, 2018
Chai Mitzvah is a program to enhance Jewish engagement. Like a book group, Chai Mitzvah network groups meet monthly for meaningful text-based discussions. What sets Chai Mitzvah apart from education programs is that each person in the group builds their ‘Jewish Bucket List’ by adopting or deepening a spiritual practice, engaging in a social action project of their choosing, and identifying something Jewish to learn about. The cost of all of the packets is $36 USD, which each participant pays once at the beginning.
After meeting for nine months, participants receive a certificate of completion and a tree is planted in Israel in their honor.
