Tish’a b’Av – Saturday night, July 17 – Sunday, July 18
There are two major fast days in the Jewish year: Yom Kippur (the joyous, or “white” fast) and Tish’a b’Av (the sad, or “black” fast). This year, Tish’a b’Av begins following Shabbat, July 17.
Join us this Saturday night at 9:30 pm as we usher Shabbat out with (a modified) havdallah, take off our leather shoes, and read the book of Eikhah (Lamentations).
