SUMMARY:Chai Mitzvah Study and Discussion Group
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a new cycle of our adult education Chai Mitzvah series! \nChai Mitzvah is a program to enhance Jewish engagement. Like a book group\, Chai Mitzvah network groups meet monthly for meaningful text-based discussions. What sets Chai Mitzvah apart from education programs is that each person in the group builds their ‘Jewish Bucket List’ by adopting or deepening a spiritual practice\, engaging in a social action project of their choosing\, and identifying something Jewish to learn about.   \nAfter meeting for nine months\, participants receive a certificate of completion and a tree is planted in Israel in their honor. You can check out samples of their materials here.  Our monthly group will convene on the last Monday of every month at 7:30pm\, unless otherwise indicated.  \nTo register to be part of the Shaar Shalom Chai Mitzvah group\, please visit here\, then click on registering a participant.
