Come join us for the next session of our Chai Mitzvah series! Chai Mitzvah is a program to enhance Jewish engagement. Like a book group, Chai Mitzvah network groups meet monthly for meaningful text-based discussions. Kabbalat Shabbat - Welcoming Shabbat Services, are held weekly on Friday evenings at 6:00 p.m. during the spring and summer. The time changes to 5:30 p.m. during the fall and winter.

Shabbat morning services begin at 9:15 a.m. every Saturday.  Shabbat liturgy, nusach and Divrei Torah delivered by our Rabbi make each Shabbat inspiring for those attending.  There are also many occasions throughout the year when the congregation will hold special Shabbat services, from a scholar-in-residence Shabbat to a university student Shabbat and more. Lecture series at Dal

There will be a lecture in the David Schroeder Music and Culture Series by Professor William Cheng, entitled "But the Nazis Loved Music, Too".  This lecture will take place at noon at the Dalhousie Arts Centre, Room 406 (MacAloney Room), free of charge.  Professor Cheng is on the faculty of Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, and he teaches and writes about topics in media, ethics, race, disability, play, and performance in the Washington Post, Huffington Post, and Time Magazine.
